What the iOS app requires

The iOS app requires iOS 15 or later. The desk keeps the iOS build current with the latest two major versions of the operating system; the desk does not support older iOS versions. The iOS app is published under the desk's developer account; the developer account is registered to the parent media entity that operates the desk.

What the iOS app does: the app carries the rulebook, the strategy library, the platform reviews, the safety chapter and the responsible-play line. The app also carries a reading queue that syncs across devices, a bookmark feature and a per-format track. The app is offline-capable for the rulebook chapters; the strategy library and the reviews require an internet connection to fetch the latest version.

What the iOS app does not do: the iOS app does not process payments, does not run any real-money tables, and does not link to any specific real-money rummy platform. The desk publishes a list of verified platforms in the reviews chapter, but the iOS app does not promote any one of them above the others.

What the Android app requires

The Android app requires Android 10 or later. The desk keeps the Android build current with the latest three major versions of the operating system. The Android app is published on the Google Play Store and as a direct APK; the APK is the same package that is published on the Play Store, signed with the desk's release key.

What the Android app does: same as the iOS app. The app carries the rulebook, the strategy library, the platform reviews, the safety chapter and the responsible-play line. The app also carries a reading queue that syncs across devices, a bookmark feature and a per-format track. The app is offline-capable for the rulebook chapters.

How to update the apps

The iOS app auto-updates through the App Store; the Android app auto-updates through the Google Play Store. The desk recommends enabling auto-update for both apps; the apps are small and the updates are frequent.
