What the app is

The app is the mobile version of the desk. It carries the rulebook, the strategy library, the platform reviews, the safety chapter and the responsible-play line. It is not a real-money rummy app, it does not run any tables, and it does not process any payments. The app is a reading resource for adult readers who want the desk in their pocket.

What the app is not

The app is not a real-money platform, a payment facilitator, a deposit interface or a withdrawal interface. The app does not link to any specific real-money rummy platform; the desk publishes a list of verified platforms in the reviews chapter, but the app does not promote any one of them above the others.

How to install the app

The app is available on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store. The app is free, the reading is free, and the desk accepts no payment for any app-related feature. Search for "Blackjack In" in your store; the desk does not currently publish an APK for direct download.

Notifications

The app sends a push notification when a new filed note is published, when a platform review is re-checked, and when the responsible-play line is updated. The notifications are opt-in, the desk does not send marketing notifications, and the desk does not share your device ID with any third party.

What the app does offline

The app carries the rulebook chapters in an offline cache; the rulebook is available without an internet connection. The strategy library, the platform reviews, the safety chapter and the responsible-play line require an internet connection to fetch the latest version. The app's offline cache is updated automatically when the app is open and the device is on a Wi-Fi network.

What the offline cache does not do: the offline cache does not include the news desk, the reader mail, the platform reviews published in the last 30 days, or any page that is part of a live blog. The offline cache is for the static chapters only; the dynamic content requires a connection. The desk publishes a release note when the offline cache is expanded to include additional chapters.

How the app handles reading preferences

The app syncs the reading preferences across devices. The preferences include the format tracks (Points, Pool, Deals, Gin), the language (English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali), the reading level (beginner, intermediate, comparison) and the notification opt-in. The preferences are stored in the desk's editorial database and are not shared with any third party.

What the preferences do not include: the preferences do not include any payment data, any deposit data, any withdrawal data, or any table history. The desk is editorial; the desk does not run any tables, does not process any payments, and does not link to any specific real-money rummy platform. The preferences are reading preferences only.

How the app handles notifications

The app sends a push notification when a new filed note is published, when a platform review is re-checked, and when the responsible-play line is updated. The notifications are opt-in; the reader can disable any of the three in the app's settings. The desk does not send marketing notifications; the desk does not share the device ID with any third party.

What the desk recommends: enable the notifications for the responsible-play line and the platform reviews; disable the notifications for the news desk if the news desk is not relevant to the reader's reading. The notifications are not a marketing channel; the notifications are a service to the reader.
